ABOUT
Moa Kang is a composer from South Korea. She started learning piano and violin at the age of 5, and deeply studied various Korean traditional instruments, including Geomungo (Korean six-stringed instrument)
She majored in Korean Music and Composition at both the National High School of Korean Traditional Music and Seoul National University in Korea. Also, Moa completed her master’s degree in Scoring for Film, TV and Video Games at Berklee College of Music, where she won the scholarship.
With various musical backgrounds and experiences, she has directed, composed and orchestrated a variety of genres in music such as: classical music, Korean traditional music, electronica, pop, new age, jazz and more. Her music was performed by orchestras and professional artists from South Korea, United Kingdom, Spain, Hungary.
As part of her career, Moa successively directed and arranged music for preliminary event of 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games in Korea and currently, she has composed, orchestrated music for visual media, based in Seoul.
